The Fitness Master X Series Momentum Bike features a robust 44 pound flywheel with a belt drive. The handlebars and seat can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. Included is a water bottle and a place holder. The bike has weighted indoor cycle pedals, quick stop knob, and clincher resistance. The dimensions are 42 inches long x 20 inches wide x 42 inches high, and the weight is 125 pounds. The warranty is 1 year for parts, 6 months for seat and toe straps, and 5 years for the frame.
Pros
The X Series Momentum is a heavy-duty bike, as it has a 44 pound flywheel and weighs 150 pounds. It operates quietly and smoothly, particularly because it’s driven by a belt instead of a chain. The wheels on the front make it easier to move around. The X Series has a compact design, with a nice silver/black color scheme. It looks the part of a bike this price. Assembly involves completing 6 steps, and the tools needed are included.
The handlebars can adjust both vertically and horizontally, which is rare among indoor cycling bikes. This allows you to really customize the position and find the settings that are ideal for your body. The handlebars also have several styles to use based on your riding position.
One side of the pedal has clips, and the other side is SPD cleat ready. You can even swap out the pedals for ones that you prefer. Either way, you will get the pedals you want.
The maximum user weight is 275, which shows how strong the frame of this bike is. It’s very stable, and no wobbling even while standing. You can ride it as hard as you want without any worry about it moving. Simply put, it’s durable and built to last.
The tension adjusts smoothly and provides plenty of resistance, regardless of the condition you are in.
It comes with a water bottle and holder, which is always appreciated with indoor cycling bikes.
This bike doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles that others in this price range do, but that could be a positive. This means that there is less likely for something to go wrong, or have to be replaced.
The price on Amazon.com is very reasonable for a bike of this magnitude.
Cons
One minor issue reported by a few customers is that the resistance pad rubs up against the flywheel, causing a little noise. For those who want a bike with a monitor to track time, calories, distance, you will have to purchase one separately.
Summary
The performance of the X Series bike is excellent. It has a 44 pound flywheel, the frame is strong, durable, and is built to last. The only real issue is that the resistance pad tends to rub up against the flywheel. It’s fair to say that this is a gym-quality bike, and the price is very reasonable.

Customer Reviews
Very satisfied with my purchase! Bike arrived one day early and only took 30 minutes tops for my husband to assemble. This bike is true quality, and comparable to the LeMond I am used to riding at the club. It is sturdy, silent, and all it should be for the avid spinner.

One reason I picked this bike was the good reviews, value for the money and I wanted one with this style of handlebars. I do love the ride on this bike, it is belt driven where all other spin bikes I have used are chain driven. It is a smoother ride than a chain driven bike and I hope the belt will last as long as the chains usually do. I am hoping that if or when the belt breaks it will be easier and less costly to replace than a chain would be.

I used to teach a spinning class a few years ago, so I am used to the gym quality bikes. This one is very good. It feels very solid – I am 6’3″ and 200 lbs. The bike fits me very well. Both the seat and handle bars are very adjustable.
